What is the trash and recycling schedule?

 

Republic does our trash pickup on Tuesday/Friday mornings. Recycling pickup is on Thursday morning. Residential collection may be delayed due to these and other holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. As a general rule, holidays push our residential pickup schedules back one day with regular schedules resuming the following week. For example: A Monday holiday will mean trash will be picked up on Wednesday/Saturday mornings and recycling will be picked up on Friday mornings. Place items on the curb. Trash must be in closed/sealed bags, and recycling should be in cans or plastic bins. Items may be placed out the night before, beginning after dark, but not before, in order to minimize attracting critters. No bulk items are accepted.

 

For various reasons, pickups are occasionally missed by our provider.  When this occurs, please retrieve and store it until the next pickup.  It is not acceptable for trash to be left outside until the next pickup.

Do I need to get approval for an architectural change, and how long will it take for a response?
 

Yes.  ANY change to the exterior appearance of your home or the grounds near your home must be approved by the board's architectural control committee. Examples include new doors, new windows, new shingles, painting, landscaping changes, lighting additions, and more. You do not need to request a change for work that does not modify the appearance of your home.  For example, if you are replacing your roof with identical shingles, you do not need to request an architectural change. When in doubt, please request a change.

Architectural changes must be placed through Chambers Management's website https://chambers.cincwebaxis.com/. Please login and find the Account Info drop down menu. Click on ACC requests. Then click on the button labeled Add ACC Request. Fill out the form and attach all necessary files/ pictures. Clarification or additional information may be requested by the architectural change committee upon reviewing the initial application.  If the request is urgent or time sensitive, please indicate such in your request and

Does the community handle snow removal and shoveling or am I responsible?
 

We contract with our landscaping provider to shovel common pathways and sidewalks.  The contractor also clears the streets and parking lots.  We generally do not have our contractor come out unless there are two or more inches of show.  The contractor also treats surfaces with anti-icing product when appropriate.  The contractor has other clients and cannot always be here immediately after a snowfall so please be patient.  Some homeowners choose to clear their own pathways.  All homeowners are responsible for clearing their parking spaces and surrounding areas, even when vehicles are plowed in after street plowing.  As always, any questions or concerns should be directed to the board.

When and where are the HOA meetings held?

The homeowners association meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 pm over Zoom. Please email Gene Stevens if you no longer have the mailing with the meeting details(gstevens@chambersmanagementinc.com).

Can I pay my HOA dues online?

Absolutely. Sign up at your HOA webportal located at CHAMBERS.CINCWEBAXIS.COM (Do not use "www"). You can pay your assessment, check your account balance, submit architectural change request forms, submit work orders and save your HOA time and money by receiving HOA communication by email.
